About Rigel AI

Built for Shopify operators,
by operators

Rigel AI Enterprise exists because most ecommerce consulting is too generic, too slow, and too focused on deliverables instead of outcomes. We built something different — and we're transparent about who we are.

Meet the Founders

The people behind
Rigel AI Enterprise

We're a small, focused team — not an anonymous agency. You'll work directly with the people who built these systems and know ecommerce operations from the inside.

Maica brings a background in recruitment, talent acquisition, HR, and lifecycle marketing — disciplines that are fundamentally about understanding what people need, communicating clearly, and building processes that hold up at scale. That same thinking now shapes how Rigel manages client relationships and internal operations.

Her hands-on experience with Omnisend and email lifecycle marketing gives her a direct view into post-purchase customer engagement — one of the highest-leverage areas for Shopify brands and a consistent focus of Rigel's audit and optimization work.

Maica's perspective on team-building informs how Rigel approaches every engagement: the right process, clearly documented and consistently applied, produces reliable outcomes regardless of who executes it.

Our Story

Why Rigel AI exists

The Shopify ecosystem is full of generalist agencies and freelancers who handle everything from landing pages to TikTok ads. That breadth comes at a cost: none of them know ecommerce operations deeply.

We saw the same patterns in store after store: conversion rates that should have been 2–3× higher, customer support operations that ate founder time, and product pages that ranked for nothing. The problems weren't unique — the solutions just required specific, focused expertise.

Rigel AI Enterprise was founded to be that specialized partner — one that goes deep on Shopify operations, customer experience, and AI-powered systems instead of spreading thin across every digital marketing channel.

"We don't try to be everything to every brand. We're Shopify specialists. That focus is what lets us deliver real improvements instead of generic recommendations."

— Jay Aguilar, Founder & CEO

What we're not

  • A full-service digital marketing agency
  • A Shopify theme development shop
  • A paid media management service
  • A large firm with account managers and junior consultants
How We Work

The principles behind
every engagement

These aren't aspirational. They're how we actually make decisions on every project.

Evidence over assumption

Every finding we share is grounded in what we can observe in your store — not guesswork or generic best practices applied blindly. If we can't see it, we say so.

Impact before completeness

A 200-item checklist isn't useful. A prioritized list of the 8 things that will actually move revenue is. We always lead with what matters most, not what's easiest to enumerate.

Honesty over comfort

We won't tell you your store is performing well when it isn't. We also won't overstate what we can do. Honest assessments — even uncomfortable ones — are more useful than optimistic ones.

Systems over fixes

A one-time fix that breaks six months later isn't a solution. We build repeatable processes, documentation, and systems that continue working after the engagement ends.

Speed without sloppiness

A completed version one is more valuable than a perfect plan in three months. We move fast, deliver early, and iterate — without sacrificing the quality of our analysis or recommendations.

AI where it helps, humans where it matters

We use AI tools to work faster and smarter. But strategic judgment, honest communication, and client relationships require human judgment. We don't confuse the two.

Ideal Clients

Who we work best with

We're most valuable to a specific type of Shopify business. Here's who that is.

🏪

DTC brands doing $10K–$1M+/month

You have traffic and products that work. The bottleneck is operations, conversion, or experience — not the fundamentals.

🧑‍💼

Founders who are ops-constrained

You're spending too much time in the business instead of on it. You know there are systems to build — you just haven't had the time or help to build them.

📊

Brands with underperforming conversion rates

Traffic is solid, but the store isn't converting at the rate it should. You want a clear diagnosis before spending more on ads.

💬

Stores drowning in repetitive support

Your inbox is full of the same questions every day. You need a support structure — not just more headcount to manage the same inefficient process.

🔍

Shopify stores with organic traffic potential

Your product pages rank for almost nothing. You want a sustainable traffic channel that doesn't depend entirely on paid spend.

🤝

Founders who want a straight-talking partner

You don't want to be managed. You want someone who gives you the real picture, pushes back when necessary, and helps you make better decisions.

Our Approach

How we're different from
a typical agency

01

We start with the audit, always

Before we recommend a single change, we review your store objectively. This prevents us from solving the wrong problem — and it gives you a valuable deliverable regardless of what you decide next.

02

We prioritize by revenue impact

Not every finding is worth fixing first. We use an effort/impact matrix to sequence recommendations — so you're always working on what will move the needle most given your available time and resources.

03

We document everything

Every process we build gets documented. Every system we design has an SOP. The work we do should make your business more capable after we're done — not dependent on us to maintain it.

04

We measure what we can

Where measurable outcomes are possible, we track them. Where they aren't (SEO takes time, for example), we're honest about what to expect and when. We don't invent metrics to make ourselves look good.

How We Work

Our operating standards

These aren't aspirational values — they're the specific commitments we hold ourselves to on every engagement. We believe it's more useful to tell you exactly what to expect than to describe ourselves in abstract terms.

🔍

Every recommendation cites its source

We don't offer opinions without evidence. Each finding in our audit report names the specific page, element, or behavior that prompted it — so you can evaluate the observation for yourself.

🚫

We have no financial incentive to recommend any tool

We don't receive referral fees, commissions, or affiliate payments from any software, app, or platform. When we recommend a Shopify app or third-party tool, it's because it fits your situation — nothing else.

We'll tell you when there's nothing worth fixing

If the audit doesn't surface meaningful opportunities, we say so. Recommending a paid engagement when it isn't warranted would damage both your business and our credibility. We'd rather decline the revenue.

📋

You own everything we produce

Every audit report, strategy document, workflow template, and deliverable we create for you belongs to you — permanently, with or without a continued engagement. We never retain rights over client work.

🎯

We don't charge for scope we didn't agree to

Before any paid engagement begins, we document the scope, deliverables, timeline, and cost in writing. We don't expand the scope without explicit agreement, and we don't invoice for work outside what was agreed.

🤝

We acknowledge the limits of our expertise

If an engagement requires specialized skills outside our core competency — paid advertising, custom Shopify development, legal, or financial advice — we'll tell you clearly and help you find the right resource instead.

Data & Privacy

How we handle your store information

We understand that your store URL, traffic data, and business details are sensitive. Here is exactly what we do — and don't do — with the information you share with us.

The initial free audit requires no backend access. We review only what any visitor to your store can see. If a paid engagement requires access to your Shopify admin, analytics platform, or support inbox, we'll ask explicitly and limit access to what the work actually requires.

Free audit uses only public information
We review pages visible to any store visitor. No login, no admin access, no app install required.
We don't share your store details with third parties
Your store URL, business information, and contact details are never sold, shared, or disclosed to anyone outside our team.
NDA available for any engagement
If you'd prefer a mutual non-disclosure agreement before sharing business details, we'll sign one. Just ask.
Any access we request is scoped to the work
If a paid engagement requires platform access, we document specifically what we need and why. Access is revoked when the engagement ends.

💡 We believe transparency builds trust faster than manufactured credibility. We'd rather show you exactly who we are and what we've done than overstate our history.
